Oklahoma State and another team bail, then BYU would be able to bail, just as those 4 teams did.

BYU then goes independent, is in the same spot they are now, and the PAC-12 is the PAC-16 instead.

Again, I don't buy that argument at all. There is no way BYU would join a conference, THEN have teams bail, and be stuck. They would have the same rights and opportunities to bail as any other member of the Big 12.

I think BYU thought they were more valuable than they actually were and just plain dropped the ball.
