BYU would have had about a 20 million dollar

buy out of the BIG12 at that point. Plus what is integrity worth. Maybe not a lot to TCU or SDSU - but it's a lot to BYU and it should be. BTW - BYU was already in a much better position than TCU or SDSU or Boise. They were still stuck in the MWC so any chance was a good one for them.
