I sort of feel the same way and can't understand how people can maintain such

interest in mediocrity. And when I say mediocrity, I'm not blaming the coaches and the players. I think BYU does the best they can with an increasingly untenable situation.
I doubt your dad has lost his passion for life altogether, he's just moved on from BYU football.
