The most depressing thing for me is not being able to get into a conference. That has to happen or things are going to continue to be rough.

I go into every season expecting to go undefeated. But that seldom happens for any team. Most teams would like to be as good as BYU, year in and year out. Not a lot of schools have won a National Championship.

Sure, the Nervous Nellies claim it will never happen again. But it will. Overall, things are getting better, not worse.

I'll keep on looking forward to another football season and I'll enjoy every game and every play just as much.
