...they're really good kids. They come back, get married in the Temple, start families, are 3.0+ students, etc. It's not like he's bringing in a bunch of Michael Irvins that he has to try and reform. The kids are already really good kids before he even offers them scholarships.
Problem is, Bronco's past 10 yrs aren't all equal and it's disingenuous of you to try and infer that they are. His first 5 yrs are dramatically different from his past 5 yrs. If he was having more success like he did when he had Crowton's recruits still on the roster then nobody would be complaining much (other than when he makes his typical boneheaded late game/end of half coaching decisions like icing the kicker on the PAT twice and wasting Timeouts that his QB needed to get the team into FG range for a shot at the game winner on the last series).
There's nothing magical Bronco is doing that another coach can't do regarding keeping the program clean. The Honor Code office does most of that work anyways.
