Really? What in particular? I sure haven't seen that in the many wards I have attended. The people I have known get the difference between a commandment and a standard or good practice, etc. For example my kids have been more than happy to abide by the For the Strength of Youth pamphlet but know that kids who don't aren't necessarily sinning. They know the standards are there to protect and some kids choose not to have the protection which doesn't mean they are sinning. And by the way I am a BYU grad and love that the honor code makes BYU what it is.
