whole church, but it does have an effect of corrupting the purity of the gospel beyond what the Savior, or his prophets taught.

Similar example in my stake: SP comes to Ward Conference and teaches 3rd hours as a Q&A session. Nobody really asks any questions beyond when is the new building going to be built so he decides to talk about grooming, dress standards and the purity of women. He goes on about how men should be clean shaven, well kept hair and white shirted. Then talks about women and their need to not wear revealing clothing or tight clothing that would cause any men to have impure thoughts. Women are special, delicate flowers and it is so sad to see when they sale themselves out by wearing tight clothing.

He also spoke on the evil of alcohol and how he does not associate with anyone who drinks. He dropped long time friends because they were not living the gospel standards and we should surround ourselves with people who follow the gospel standards thoroughly.

It was very interesting to hear all this with our investigator family and their 18 year old daughter sitting front row, both women wearing "tight" clothing....
