Yes, that is generally what happens when new coaches come in and change up the
offensive and defensive systems.
They build their scheme based on what they want to run, then slowly adapt to the players that they have. It is probably a 2-3 year process for the Kalani and Co. to get the players that fit the scheme they want.
It may be longer than that based on kids on missions.
Ty certainly has a learning curve, but from what the NFL folks said he is pretty sharp between the ears. He'll figure it out.
