Our 'really good D' was helped in great part by an offense that was very good in time of possession and converting 3rd and 4th downs. Our offense wasn't great but did do some things very well considering the talent didn't exactly match what Detmer wants to do going forward. IMO, Detmer did about as good as he could with what he had to work with. Taysom wasn't as explosive as he was in past years, and he's never been a great passer.
