LDS Ute fans come out of the woodwork and condemn Max Hall or any Y player, for making comments that may tarnish their church. I saw post after post and heard comment after comment, from LDS Ute fans - that were disappointed with Hall, because he represented their church.

Yet - those same Ute fans, for years, have made degrading, insulting and hateful comments toward BYU - which......represents the LDS Church.

How do Ute fans somehow believe they can separate BYU from the LDS Church? I see more than a few LDS Ute fans in our stake, proudly wearing their "I hate BYU" sort of T shirt. Might as well replace BYU on those shirts, with "Mormon Church". The reality of it is, any derogatory or hateful comment about BYU is a derogatory or hateful comment toward the church. BYU represents the LDS Church - 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Very ironic.
