The members of the LDS church should be striving to be more welcoming, more forgiving, more charitable and more humble than any other people, even those attending Notre Dame. There's nothing wrong with not being a BYU fan or expressing your dislike for BYU. People may not like it, but their reaction to his statement is their own responsibility.
