it wasn't appropriate for Sacrament meeting, and I totally agree.
However, where you lose all credibility is when you say that he lost support of the members because he said he doesn't like BYU. Whether he likes BYU or not, and whether or not he says it, he's the Lord's missionary, serving in the ward in his assigned area, he should have the support of the members
