Wonder if some boneheaded teacher or seminary teacher was petty because the recognize how talented he is. I've heard enough people say things like, "He's book smart but has no street smarts!!" and "Yeah if I didn't have a life I'd be successful, BUT I'M NOT THAT PATHETIC." Who knows, it's the only thing I can think of.

Also, its absurd to me that they give seminary teachers that kind of latitude.
