this will be interesting for her.  It sounds to everyone he should have been a shoo-in.  I hope he realizes this, and he should take heart from that.  He hasn't failed.  There's a very good chance the rest of his siblings will all get in easily.  Here's something to pass along - it could very easily be that the Lord is putting him on a different, very important path for his life.  It's possible that there are some very important people he needs to meet at another school, maybe even a future wife for example, or future life-long friends.
