Actually he's "dope", "chill". The ladies might consider him a "snacc". I don't know what that means but the kids say that's a good thing. I'm so old.

Yeah, all we can do is laugh right now. We tried to get him in, to take a well rounded approach to his education and activities. It didn't work out for him. Hopefully others can learn from our experience and have a better outcome.

It's becoming more and more evident to us as we continue to talk with admissions personnel and other BYU connected people that the approach is now different. He didn't play his cards right. Perhaps his essays really were weak compared to others in his academic tier. Oh well. Wish we could know why but life goes on.
