employers should be responsible for dishing out that punishment. That just leads to an inequitable society in which people who are unemployed receive lesser punishment.

We don't know how remorseful Mark Few is about this. If he is remorseful and has taken ample steps to ensure it doesn't happen again then I don't think he should lose his job over it. Most us should understand the significance of being accepted and sheltered by an organization comprised of individuals who are better than we deserve.

If Mark Few had paralyzed or killed me, I would not want him to lose his job. I would want him to have sufficiently deep pockets to compensate my family. Financial compensation is only a small portion of the loss, but it is far better than nothing.

I don't blame Mark Few or Gonzaga for his lack of punishment. I blame the laws established by our legislators.
