You don't have to live in the same state or be part of the school to relate to
this. As some have posted on here they either know people killed by drunk drivers, have been involved in accidents themselves or have other connections.
Before you act like you are coming from a higher and moral level you need to accept that there are those that have gone through terrible tragedies because of drunk drivers. This acts almost like a trigger for some.
Again, it doesn't matter if you are part of the state or school. This is human life and people who make this kind of choice deserve harsh punishment.
