I'm all for raising teacher salaries with the stipulation that increases in pay

are tied to performance, and not just seniority; and that it is easier to remove bad teachers. My experience with teachers in general hasn't been good. In my experience, most of them aren't very good at what they do and I have no desire to see the state throw more money at them as things currently stand.
