That's the first time you've seen a BYU team give up?? Are you a new fan or...
...something? Did you not see the 2011 Utah game that we lost 54-10? We were down 14-10 at the half and the game was pretty evenly played in the first half. We had outgained the Utes and had completely stuffed their run game, JW4 had 9 carries for 9 yds. Their leading rusher was WR Reggie Dunn with 17 yds on one carry.
The Utes turned the heat on in the 2nd half and BYU wilted on both sides of the field. We gave up 200 yds rushing in the 2nd half, gave up big plays, turned the ball over in embarrassing fashion (including Falslev's fumbling a kickoff in the shadow of the goal line and we completely gave up on both sides of the ball.
It was a crushing loss and they ripped BYU's heart right out of it's chest.
