What Utah does.... is show how strong the LDS community is at the U, How large the institute program is, and parades out all the active LDS coaches (some who have large callings in the church). They also let kids talk to Players who have converted to the LDS faith while playing at Utah. Every soon-to-be (or RM thinking of transferring) missionary gets the "You continue to be a Missionary at Utah, there is nobody left to convert at BYU"
