No way. I did my freshman year at BYU-I
I was so glad to not be in dorms like my friends at BYU. BYU freshmen dorms are like being in glorified high school without adult supervision. I was living a more independent, adult life than they were and I loved it.
Besides, there are dorms at BYU-I. Most freshmen girls live in dorms and they have a small dorm for freshmen boys too. But only the nerds lived in the boys dorms.
