What did you expect exactly? We are talking about BYU
Honestly, it’s stupid that LDS kids think they have to go to BYU. Subconsciously they equate getting in to BYU with their level of worthiness. Denial =not worthy in the eyes of God.
There are dozens of better schools that would accept him. Better education, more opportunity for spiritual growth. More missionary opportunities...
