Depends on how you define “quality.” If “quality” includes opening young

people’s minds to ideas they’ve never thought of before, or even just a certain amount of critical thinking skills, then academic freedom limitations would affect quality.

It’s harder to teach critical thinking when there are certain topics you are forbidden from being critical of.
