games? BYU also only has 4 P5s on 2022 schedule (although they only have 11 games scheduled, so hypothetically could get one more if they can find any takers). For 2024, BYU has so far just 2 P5 games out of 9 scheduled games (so 3 more openings).
so in practice, it seems like TH is toning down the schedules and veering more toward a Jarom Jordan approach.
I personally would rather have tougher schedules and win 6 or 7 games many years than to schedule a bunch of cupcakes each year to make sure we get ten wins. But I also get that there are a lot of factors at play in making a schedule.
