Our best option IMO is to first, keep playing as many P5 games as possible. Also
rank the P5 programs into tiers and schedule a couple from each tier if possible.
Second, work harder/smarter at identifying and developing the players we get.
Third, push for the playoff to be expanded and that BYU have at least as much standing as the G5 conferences in getting into the playoff.
Last, keep pushing for better bowl invites.
Tall order but that's the path I feel BYU has to take for now. Definitely not that the easy way out and dumb down the schedule.
