In that metric I would have to somehow penalize the offense when have

3 and outs or other short drives. Part of the reason out TOP was so bad last night against Utah state was because our offense went 3 and out 3 times in a row in the first half.

I agree that the defense needs to do their part and get off the field but the offense needs to be held to a similar standard when they are going 3 and out as often as they have been.
