It’s not that time of possession doesn’t matter, I just think the offense has an equal effect on this stat as the defense.

If the offense wants more time of possession then they need to get more first downs. I feel like that is reasonable.

I understand the rhythm argument. The offense gets rusty when they are on the sidelines. And our defensive scheme doesn’t compliment that well. Where we disagree is how much the defense is too blame when the offense plays poorly. I would put it much closer to 5 percent and it sounds like you would put it closer to 50-60%, that sound about right?
