USU held an offense to -20 rush for the first half for the first time this year
Our offense made a 1-4 crappy USU defense look good. And they did it largely by completely destroying our rush game. The first half was when they kept it close by forcing three 3 and outs in a row. It was embarrassing to have that be our product on national TV.
Remember, this is an unbelievably crappy USU team that our offense helped look stellar.
No amount of stat spin can substitute for what it felt like to watch the crappy approach we were taking.
It seems there's quite a bit of bias to try and protect this offense, either with stats or blaming the defense like you might be doing.

Offense scored 38 and had multiple missed field goals. Seems they are doing fine. Can they be better? Sure.
