Yeah I understand that could affect the offense.

I promise I am not being obtuse on that point.

But regardless of whether it is a part of the scheme or not the offense regularly goes 3 and out. I want to blame the offense for playing poorly when they go three and out.

You seem to be blaming the defensive scheme for these three and outs because the offense flow was interrupted by sitting on the sideline too long. Am I representing your perspective adequately?
