Is there data on the more you work out and the more you practice
the better you likely become? If not than you may be right. I think its logical to conclude there is an impact and that aggregated data would back that up

I cannot imagine that moving from 15-20 hours of weekly practice to 3-5 hours for 2 years would ever carry the same results. In essence you only get a third of the time (best case scenario) that your sports counterparts get. Basically decrease the practice to almost nothing, decrease stretching to almost nothing, conditioning to almost nothing, strength training to almost nothing, change nutrition severely, never study sports film, remove all coaching, severely decrease the level or competition you practice against when you can, often face sickness and parasites and that is the situation nearly every missionary athlete is dealing with. Not sure how it is even possible to believe mission legs are a myth. If none of those things matter than Iverson was right.

"We're talking bout practice!"
