Sure. Most guys don't have their best season as freshmen. I served missions with

a Damuni and Madsen. Both of those guys were incredible athletes entering the mission. The mission wasn't kind to them and they had to work their butt of when they got home. It's just common sense. Somehow I wasn't a better guitar player, wakeboarder, or snowboarder when I got off my mission than when I was doing those things frequently.

Can a guy get it back? Sure, but it isn't easy and certainly isn't an advantage.
