Surprisingly, they are tough to come by.

If the theory were true, we would see a lot of careers that looked like this over the years:

Freshman: Good season
*Mission*
Sophomore: Bad/mediocre season
Junior: Good season
Senior: Good season

I actually thought I’d see a lot of careers like that. Again, surprisingly, it’s hard to find even one player who had that profile (Seljaas was the closest, but he never regained his freshman form).
