I’m only looking at RMs who had good careers at BYU. That’s the group I care

about for this. That’s it.

If I were cherry-picking the data then I would have found an RM who had a very good career at BYU and excluded them from the data set in the OP. The problem is, I couldn’t find any to exclude. I looked up the first 8-10 I could think of and… surprise, surprise… they all were very good right off their missions.

I’ll tell you what. Name the top 20 RM b-ball players all-time and I’ll track down the stats for each of them. Maybe we’ll find one who struggled right off his mission. So far, none of them have.
