I believe that Church standards should be enforced by those in authority to
do so (your bishop or stake president) not some arbitrary committee who is paid to enforce these standards and somehow believe they have just as much authority to "correct" the "sinner."
If I understand correctly, i don't think Taekwondave is saying that students at BYU shouldn't be held to high standards, I believe he is saying that those standards should be enforced by the proper channels and the honor code office does not fit that bill.
