There are some very passive aggressive/butthurt BYU fans on CB
As evidenced by the unpopularity of your post, which makes nothing but valid points. But alas, BYU fans have slowly embraced and played the role of little brother over recent years, and our continued obsession with the UofU only continues to push it further. It's gotten to a point of angry denial.
Add my vote to the "never play Utah again" group, I see no benefit to the game. Or it can stay. It's whatever, I stopped caring about Utah long ago.
