me that we are even close to being like the ute boards. They bring the hate to a whole new level. To most of them on the board (NOT ALL OF THEM) it is not just about football. They hate us because of our beliefs and for what we stand for. Football just adds to the fuel. I really think that the administration at utah fuels this fire also. Kyle has made sly remarks himself about the standards that BYU tries to uphold. They want to distance themselves from the church while having the benefits of LDS recruits and some of the money that the church pumps into the university. Yes, there is a lot of hate from both sides but when it comes right down to it, the hatred that SOME utah fans have for BYU runs a lot deeper.
