I'm with you dude
If we can someday, assuming we will be independent for a while, fill our schedule with quality P5 teams from each conference year in and year out, then yeah, why schedule the Utes? I'd rather play any other program in the PAC 12, except for Colorado, than the Utes.
The Utes just don't bring that star power & national notoriety that a UCLA, Texas, Florida, Michigan, etc. do.
But, we are somewhat desperate in our scheduling at this point and unfortunately, the Utes are a bigger name than half the teams on our current schedule.
