It's only about a 1/2 yard jump from last year, but remember that this last year was more about establishing a different mentality, different scheme, the run game, all while running more plays... the equivalent of an extra game, or even 2, and they still improved the yds per play and nearly matched the TD total of Doman's 2nd year of being an OC.
The best offenses in the country were able to get over 7 yds/play, but overall good offenses can produce over 6 yds/play.
My outlook is also subjective, but not without some evidence to back me up. Like I said, just revisit this thread again at the end of the year, and next year... and you'll see I'm right. I can't fast forward so we'll just wait and see.
