It probably wouldn't change my opinions about kicking from the opponent's 30, running Hill up the middle on the last play of the USU game when all he had to do was take a knee, playing Nelson vs. BSU when he single handedly became BSU's MVP, or allowing Nelson to run the team. I've heard Bronco speak at several firesides, along with his wife Holly. They are both nice, but also come across as rather defensive (in my experience). In general, I think Bronco is a nice guy. I think he feels the weight of not just a fan base and university, but the Church on his shoulders and sometimes wears that on his sleeve. Bronco's decision to not show much emotion on the sideline was odd, in my opinion, because that wasn't his demeanor as a DC. But, I think it reflected how he viewed the HC position. That always kind of bothered me, but to each his own. (I don't think a BYU coach needs to act as a GA. I think Rose has the right mix of respectful conduct and fire. Also, I think Rose is much better with the media and fans than Bronco.)
