You are asking fans to ignore Bronco's every flaw
and he has had some big ones. I stated that Bronco has done some great things. There is no doubt about that. I was present at the BYU-Oklahoma game in 2009 and that will go down as one of the best games I have ever attended. Bronco was a hero. However, he then came home two weeks later and got schooled by FSU on national TV, after just going on the Jim Rome Show and bragging about how he's home by 6:00 pm every day.

Your comment suggests that all I did was bash Bronco. You focused on every negative thing I wrote and ignored the positive. That's something that drives me crazy about the ardent Bronco defenders here. Lodging one complaint vs. Bronco results in a pile on with labels of "Bronco hater." It's like Obama labeling every critic a racist. It's ridiculous.

Bronco is not perfect. I don't expect him to be perfect. I don't expect a national championship. However, I do want to see BYU prepared to play vs. teams like UNR (looked terrible vs. UNR in Reno last November - worst first half of football I can recall in recent years), and UW (I'm okay with a bowl loss so long as we look like we want to be there, like we prepared to win). It's tough watching BYU get out coached by an interim rookie HC in the bowl game, with BYU looking so bad that ESPN announcing spend much of the half time break and second half laughing at my team. That is why Bronco's pre-game self pat on the back about BYU's "successful" season win or lose vs. UW was so nauseating to me. What other coach in the country would do something like that and not be criticized by the fans. That kind of comment invites criticism. It was nuts, and I think it is fair game for fans to comment on that and express their frustration without being labeled as "Bronco haters" - bad fans or unAmerican.
