No kid deserves what you do and say about him on this board. As for your assertion that it is his family members on this board? Nope. And actually I am a family member that came on for the first time yesterday (and the only one with an account that I know of.) Suffice it to say, my jaw is on the ground at all the hate, lies, and rumormongering that I have read in the last 24 hours. (I see there are some who try to be fair and reasonable, and I appreciate you.) My point is, we his family members, were warned by the BYU football coaches about the vicious, mean-spiritied gossip that pervades Cougar board so we have all told to avoid it at all cost. This came to me from the highest levels. And oh how I wish I hadn't made the mistake of coming on here yesterday to see all of this. Yes. I'll be deleting my account. This is so sad.

I cannot believe that all of this hate and slander stems from the fact that BYU didn't extend Porter Gustin an offer and that was grounds enough for him and his family to be shredded day in and day out by BYU fans? Really? BYU makes a recruiting decision that they are entitled to make, Porter moves on to other schools and it gives you guys carte blanc to mercilessly attack a 17 year old kid and his family? All in the name of the "Lord's University"? Look I am a BYU graduate. I bleed blue. I love BYU with all my heart. And I am at a loss as to how a football decision that he had no control over means that he gets put through this meat grinder day in and day out when he can't even defend himself? And it's all done with anonymity? wow. Where is the charity?
