Saying that one of the "Brethren" contacted Bronco and Bronco ignored him is not believable. And for you to say "Bronco didn't like the intrusion" is 1 - something you would have no knowledge of, and neither would the Gustin family, and 2 - would be contrary to what Bronco believes about his role in BYU football. Bronco is the coach of a Major D1 football program. Dealing with entitled kids is part of the job description.
Since the hazing incident is public knowledge, and Dad Gustin has already gone to the media complaining about BYU your story is just a little too rosy. Add to that the fact that BYU can't and won't say anything about why they decided to pass on Gustin no one has the full story. But look at the facts. The BYU coaches are well aware of who Gustin is. They know he would probably play for BYU if offered. They also know that 30 other major D1 programs are interested in Porter. If they are not offering Porter then there is a reason - and Bronco being "too proud" is ridiculous.
I hope Porter has a great football career, and I hope he servers and honorable mission, but you are just repeating the one sided stories that you have been told by the family.
