But you need to be able to apply common sense. If by some magical oversight they didn't know about Gustin last year, they sure would now that 30 D1 teams are looking at him and the story has been in the press for months. If they wanted him, being late to the table is better than not being there at all. And contrary to what some posters have said, the BYU coaches are not opposed to making a late offer to a kid that might not come to BYU anyway.

There is a reason BYU doesn't want Porter. And we will probably never know why.
