I agree with you. From what I have seen it is about much more than alcohol.

So many Mormons just don't seem to be comfortable around non-Mormons, especially in a "party" or social setting. I see it all the time. They would much rather just go home directly from work every day and don't seem to have much interest in building relationships with non-Mormons. It gets noticed.
