Feds lose money on public lands because its unsustainable. States will won't
be able to do it cheaper because they are magically less bureaucratic. In some locations, like say Arches National Park, it could be a net-revenue generator. But the west desert of Utah? Good luck with that.

Nope, public lands is always going to be a sunk cost. And quite frankly, I'm ok with my tax dollars being used to fund it. Not everything has to be a net-money generator.
