The Louisiana purchase was acquired by treaty and was eventually disposed of
as required.
Federal land is an important asset that should be taken out of the federal government's hands, preferably privatized, as quickly as possible.
I don't care who it's given or sold to, because the incentives that come with private ownership are the same, regardless of the prior interests of the new owner.
