This argument has the sophistication of a freshman in the first week of his Econ
101 course.

If you don't understand how public and private land works,I guess this makes sense.

Private landowners largely won't even name a price to hunt. It's just off limits. It would destroy the sort of uses all of us out West have come to expect. The recreation we have out here is a huge boon to everyone. It allows access to ordinary people. What you're suggesting is basically feudalism. I'll pass, thanks.
