He used to work with me at a residential treatment center for adolescents. Pretty much he just decided which half of the field I couldn't throw to and there would be no long passes. You can try to make up for his speed breaking to the ball by throwing away from him with sufficient velocity to get the ball there before he can get there. If your receivers can't catch a fast ball... you have to be creative.
