But he stuck with BYU because he was not qualified elsewhere. It’s a huge advantage BYU uses and is continuing to use. Kalani is using this pitch with current likely non-qualifiers he’s trying to land. I don’t blame Kalani for doing it, but the argument that academics is somehow limiting BYU recruiting sis absurd. The opposite is true.
