that it wouldn't take long for Utah to spring ahead of BYU unless BYU got into a P5 conference themselves. 8 years later the results are as I predicted. All this talk from above comments on how well they would do in the PAC 12 was irrelevant and not what I was predicting. I'm talking the head-to-head between the two teams. To be honest it has been more devastating than I thought. I figured BYU would beat Utah at least once going on 8 years later. It'll continue this way until BYU finds their way in a P5 conference. Otherwise it will be a slow and painful death.
